Farnham in Bloom

Each year between the months of May and October Farnham becomes awash with colour as the flower filled hanging baskets and troughs go out around the town.

This year, after 5 years break, Farnham Town Centre will be entered in the South and South East in Bloom competition

Art Exhibition at the Farnham Maltings

Art Group know their place

A new selling exhibition of contemporary art work is to be mounted by the TwentyTen group of artists in the East Wing of the Farnham Maltings. The exhibition, entitled “Allotments” sees the gallery space being divided into equal sized ‘Allotments’ each artist being allocated a specific space in which to display their work.

TwentyTen is a group of established and emerging local artists who have been working together for three years. Their first group exhibition was held during the recent Farnham Arts Festival. The artists produce contemporary fine art in a variety of media including painting, drawing, print making, stone carving, latex and photography. Unframed work, greeting cards and postcards will also be available. The exhibition runs 16 - 27 September 10am - 4pm (closed Sunday and finishes 1pm on the last day).

Come and enjoy mouthwatering treats at Farnham's first Feast.

Farnham Food Festival is organised by Farnham Town Council. The festival will showcase an array of fresh local produce offering delightful delicases right on your doorstep.

Between tasting samples and making your purchases from the variety of exhibitors, make sure you don't miss a food demonstration by local Chef Steve Drake of Michelin Star establishment, Drake's Resaturant in nearby Ripley.

96.4 The Eagle Radio's Love Crew will be attending - you could win sime fantastic culinary prizes and musical entertainment will be provided by renowned local jazz band; Granndpa Spells.

The Farnham Farmers’ market

Takes place on the fourth Sunday of every month in the Central Car Park, Victoria Road, off Union Road

Over 50 local producers come together to sell products and produce that they have baked, reared and produced themselves.

At the market you can expect to find a range of products from

fresh and frozen meats, poultry, oven ready game, fish and pies, eggs, honey products, preserves and cheeses, homemade speciality breads, fresh cakes, seasonal fruit and vegetables, plants, barbecue, wood products and much more...

The Maltings Market inside the Great Hall. The Farnham Maltings monthly market is a lively bazaar with over 200 stalls, selling a variety of crafts, antiques, jewellery, plants and fresh produce.

Watch out for this year’s booking dates!

To begin the experience you will meet some of our friendly farm animals before you enter a magical world full of animated characters in a variety of winter wonderland settings. As you walk through the different scenes, you can enjoy friendly banter with the impish elves before your children meet Santa to receive their very own presents.

For those of you are too old for a present, a complimentary mince pie and hot fruit punch awaits!
